Rich history.
Commanding views.
Restful spaces.

To visit The Lodge is to temporarily suspend time. There are no obligations or expectations. No emails, phone calls or notifications. There is only wide, vast, wondrous nature — the hush of snow-dusted mountains and the impossibly peaceful surface of Bow Lake.

The home base for your national park and Rocky Mountain adventures, The Lodge itself is a historical wonder. From the distinct red roof to newly updated interiors, its thoughtful touches and restful spaces wick away the stresses of everyday life.

Nestled on the shore of breathtaking Bow Lake, the iconic red roof of The Lodge has punctuated Alberta’s world-class natural scenery since 1922.

Today, a group of new owners committed to the preservation of the property’s history and the surrounding environment have come together to refurbish the recognizable structure to its former glory, with attention to modern sustainability practises and deep respect for the history of the land itself.
