You made it.

Rich history.
Commanding views.
Restful spaces.

To visit The Lodge is to temporarily suspend time. Life’s obligations and expectations are paused. No emails, phone calls or notifications. There is only wide, vast, wondrous nature — the hush of snow-dusted mountains and the impossibly peaceful surface of Bow Lake.

The home base for your national park and Rocky Mountain adventures, The Lodge itself is a historical wonder. From the distinct red roof to updated interiors, its thoughtful touches and restful spaces wick away the stresses of everyday life.

Nestled on the shore of breathtaking Bow Lake, the iconic red roof of The Lodge has punctuated Alberta’s world-class natural scenery since 1922.

Today, a group of owners committed to the preservation of the property’s history and the surrounding environment have refurbished the recognizable structure to its former glory, with attention to modern sustainability practises and deep respect for the history of the land itself.

Surrounded by Rocky peaks and lush evergreen forests, a stay at The Lodge is a tranquil retreat year-round.
